COACH HOP

Trevor Hoppe

Longtime educator and coach, Trevor Hoppe begins his first year as the head cross country coach and his 16th year as a health education/physical education professor at Southwestern Oregon Community College.  Coach Hoppe is a respected role model known for his positive energy and enthusiasm.  During his tenure at SWOCC Coach Hoppe has supported his teams and is passionately committed to their academic success having many student-athletes graduate and matriculate to four-year institutions.
 
Coach Hoppe earned his A.A. degree from College of the Redwoods and his B.A. and M.A. in Physical Education from Humboldt State University.  Coach Hoppe is also active on campus at Southwestern he speaks annually at the freshman seminar series and has served on the faculty senate.  As a professor, Coach Hoppe teaches health education, wellness for life, and the popular theory of coaching course offered each spring. 
 
Coach Hoppe is married to Katherine Hoppe, who is the Tourism & Content Manager at The Mill Casino.  Coach Hop and Katherine are the proud parents of two pets, their dogs Vegas and Friday they reside in North Bend.
