Max Bright is entering his third year of coaching esports and teaching Adult & Pre-College Education GED night classes at Southwestern Oregon Community College. Max holds a master's degree in physics from California State University, Fresno, and has taught physics in the Central Valley's California Community Colleges and California State University systems. Following his teaching tenure, he tutored and streamed game content on Twitch.

Max's passion for gaming spans various genres, from Nuzlocke randomizers in Pokémon to engaging in team-based shooters like Overwatch 2 and exploring the expansive worlds of The First Descendent, the Borderlands series, and VR MMOs such as Zenith: The Last City. He also actively participates in alpha and beta testing for emerging VR MMO titles like Victoria VR, Freeland VR, and Ascent Quest.

While he may not have played competitively, Max is dedicated to fostering a "winner's mindset" in his players. He emphasizes the importance of preparation, patience, and persistence, values that extend beyond gaming to all aspects of life. Through a focus on teamwork, positive communication, and a growth mindset, Max aims to guide his students in both their personal and professional endeavors.
