Southwestern’s intercollegiate athletic programs include volleyball, baseball, softball, cheer/dance and men’s & women’s cross country, basketball, wrestling, golf, soccer, track & field and the newest addition, swimming. The Laker’s athletic teams compete in the Southern Region of the NWAC (Northwest Athletic Conference). Southwestern is also a member of the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) for men’s wrestling and men’s and women’s swimming as well as WCWA/NCWA exclusively for women’s wrestling.
