Kelly attended Salisbury State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2004. She took a yearlong internship position at Georgetown University in Washington DC, where she worked as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Football, Baseball and Men’s Lacrosse teams. Kelly decided to further her education at the University of Hawaii @ Manoa where she received her Masters of Science degree in Kinesiology & Leisure Science in 2007. While in Hawaii, Kelly worked with various UH athletic teams as well as worked at Elam Sports Rehabilitation Center as a Physical Therapist Tech.
Kelly started her career at Southwestern in August of 2007. She plays a dual role as a Certified Athletic Trainer and Tenured Assistant Professor in the Health & Physical Education Department. When Kelly is not in the Athletic Training room helping athletes get back on the road to recovery, she is in the classroom enhancing the minds of her students. She teaches a variety of Health & PE classes as well as Nutrition.
Kelly currently resides in North Bend with her husband, Jack, and three children, Ezra, Jacob, and Aiden.
