Brian Crager started his journey at SWOCC in August of 2015 as a Certified Athletic Trainer charged with the comprehensive health care of the student athletes.
Brian earned his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Southern Oregon University in 2001. After graduation, Brian worked as an Athletic Trainer at the University Sports Medicine Institute in Buffalo, NY where he provided athletic training services to University at Buffalo club teams as well as several local high schools. In addition, he also coordinated strength and conditioning programs for the clients at the Sports Medicine Institute and Physical Therapy. After 5 years, Brian transitioned into becoming a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University at Buffalo. While working towards a Master’s Degree in Nutrition, Brian provided comprehensive health care to both the Football team and Men’s/Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country teams. Since graduation, Brian served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, OR, an Athletic Trainer for the USA Junior National Luge Team, an Athletic Trainer and Sports Performance Coach for the Northeast Rugby Collegiate All-Stars, and an Athletic Trainer at Work-Fit clinic in Everett, WA. Along the way, Brian has earned several Health and Fitness certifications such as National Athletic Training Association Board Certified registered in Oregon, a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, and a Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner.
Brian spends his recreational time in the beautiful outdoors of Oregon and regularly camps, hikes, fishes, and plays disc golf. Brian currently resides in Coos Bay.
