Coos Bay, OR – Southwestern Oregon Community College Athletics department is proud to announce the hiring of Todd Ransom as the Men’s Soccer Head Coach. Coach Ransom has coached at many different levels including 30 and older leagues, youth club soccer and most recently at North Bend High School where he currently teaches Spanish. Coach Ransom was named Far West League coach of the year in 2010.


Todd originally went to Lake Oswego HS and later attended Portland State University where he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Spanish. Coach Ransom believes he has high expectations for his student-athletes and wants to build strong and lasting relationships with his players, parents and colleagues. He has been following the success of the Men’s Soccer program over the past few years, which included a post season berth last year, the first in many years. The athletic department looks forward to continuing the tradition at Southwestern with Coach Ransom in the leadership role.
